I was sick of public hospitals

There are many types of hospitals, but the most famous are the public hospitals. What distinguishes them is that they provide services to the poor (people without means) and the minorities.

Historically, public hospitals started as correction and CPAS. They were poor homes run by church and medical schools. A complete cycle of the following: communities established their own hospitals which were subsequently taken over by regional authorities and governments - onlyBack to the management community today. Between 1978 and 1995 followed a 25% decrease in the number of public hospitals and the remaining were converted into small rural facilities.

In the U.S., less than a third of hospitals in a city and only 15% had more than 200 beds. The 100 largest hospitals averaged 581 beds.

A debate is raging in the West: the complete privatization of health care - or should a segment of the center-left in public hands?

Public hospitalsare in serious financial difficulties. 65% of patients do not pay for medical services received by them. Public hospitals have a legal obligation to treat all. Some patients are insured by national health insurance plans (including Medicare / Medicaid in the U.S., the UK NHS). Other plans are insured by the community.

The other problem is that these patients consumed less or non-profitable services. The service mix is wrong, trauma, medications, HIV treatment and obstetricsprevail - long, obviously loss-making services.

The more profitable to be addressed by the private providers of health: hi-tech and specialized services (cardiac surgery, diagnostic imaging).

Public hospitals are forced to "culturally competent care": social services, child care. These are money losing operations to private hospitals can remember. Based on research, we can safely say that private, for profit hospitals, discriminate publicly insuredpatients. They prefer young, growing families and healthy patients. The latter assumption by the public system, leaving an enclave of poor, chronically ill.

This, in turn, makes it difficult for the public system of human and financial resources to attract. It is becoming increasingly poor.

The poor are poor voters, and they provide very little political power.

Public hospitals operate in a hostile environment: budget cuts, the rapidproliferation of competing alternative health care with a much better picture and the method of privatization (including a network of security institutions).

Public hospitals are heavily dependent on public funding. The governments foot most of bill for health care. Public and private providers to pursue this money. In the U.S., potential consumers are organized in Healthcare Maintenance Organizations (HMO). The HMO negotiates with providers (= hospitals, clinics, pharmacies) to obtaindiscounts and better prices through negotiation. Public hospitals - under-funded as they are - not in a position to offer what they want. Yes, lose patients to private hospitals.

But public hospitals are to blame for their situation.

They have not implemented the rules of liability. They do not do routine statistical measures of their effectiveness and productivity: the waiting times, financial reporting and the degree of network development. Because evengovernments have transformed from "dumb suppliers" to "smart purchasers", the new public hospitals, change of ownership (privatize, lease their facilities and long term), or perish. Currently, these institutions (often wrongly) charged with bad financial management (the fees for their services are unrealistically low), undersized, inefficient service, union labor, bloated bureaucracy and no incentive to improve performance and productivity. No wonder that there isthe abolition of the "bricks and mortar" infrastructure (= closure of public hospitals) and replace it with a virtual (= geographical portable medical insurance).

Actually, there are counterarguments:

The private sector is willing and able to charge patients in the public sector to absorb. There is no legal obligation to do so, and the marketing arms of the various HMOs are primarily interested in healthy patients.

These discriminatory practices imposedchaos and chaos (not to mention corruption and irregularities) on the communities that decided the public hospitals - and gradually in private.

True enough, the governments of poor performance such as price-conscious buyers of medical services. It 'also true that lack the resources for the uninsured to reach a significant proportion of (extensions through subsidized insurance).

40 million people in the U.S. do not have health insurance - and a million moreadded each year. However, there are no data for the claim that public hospitals care less at a higher price to offer support - and no doubt, have unique experience in caring for low-income populations (both medical and social).

Yes, in the absence of facts, the arguments really amounts to philosophy. Health care is a fundamental human right - or is it a good thing to be subjected to the market's invisible hand? Prices are expected to serve as the mechanism of the optimalallocation of healthcare resources - or are there other, less quantifiable parameters to consider?

Regardless of the philosophical preference, a reform is a must. It should include the following:

Public hospitals should be subject to health management experts stressed that the consideration and tax policy. This should be related to the vesting of authority in hospitals, with the return of local government. Hospitals can be arranged aspolitics and bureaucracy (public interest), companies with greater autonomy to the current dual effect of avoiding debilitating. Could be organized as a non-profit organizations with independent, self-perpetuating boards of directors.

But all this can happen only through greater public accountability and a clear measure with clear quantitative criteria for the use of funds for public hospitals. Hospitals can begin renewing theirreward structures for wages and financial incentives to increase staff.

Current-fits-all compensation systems to discourage talented people. Pay should be tied to measurable criteria. top management of the hospital should receive a bonus when the hospital is accredited by the state, where the waiting time increased, disrollment when rates go down, and when multiple services are provided.

The implementation of these (especially mental) revolution, the management of public hospitals shouldbe trained to strict financial control, in order to improve customer service, process re-engineering and to negotiate agreements and commercial transactions.

Staff should be distributed through written labor contracts with provisions that allow the clear purpose of taking commercial risks.

Clarity of objectives must be defined and respected. Public hospitals should improve continuity of care, expand primary care capacity to reduce lengths of stay (= turning point increase) and satisfybudgetary constraints imposed by both the state and associations of patients or their insurers.

This can not be achieved without the full cooperation of the medical staff of hospitals. Hospitals in the United States form joint ventures with their own physicians (PHO - Physicians Hospital organizations). They benefit together with the implementation of reforms and increasing productivity. It is estimated that the productivity of today is 40% less in publicthe private sector. This is an estimate doubtful: the populations are different (more sick people in the public sector). But even if this figure is not correct - is the essence: public hospitals are less efficient.

They are less efficient because of the archaic scheduling of doctor-patient appointments, laboratory tests and operations, due to outdated computer systems or non-existent due to long lead times and reasons of redundant laboratory tests and medical procedures. The aid - which consists of private hospitals - from other (non-clinical and clinical) staff absent due to possible complex work rules and job descriptions required by the unions. Most doctors have divided loyalties between the medical schools where they teach and the hospital branches. They tend to overlook the contributions of volunteers for the classes and most prestigious. Public hospitals would therefore be wise not to take on new staff, medical schools, the sharing of risks through joint ventures with physicians, sign contracts with pay based on productivity and put the medical boards. In general, hospitals are shrunk and re-engineering of the workforce. About half of the budget is usually spent on labor costs in private hospitals - and over 70% in public law. It is not good for the staff through natural wastage, mass layoffs, severance pay or reduce incentives. These are "blind", nondiscriminating measuresaffecting the quality of care provided by the hospital. Further exacerbated by work rules, seniority systems, job title and complaints inclined structures - the situation can get out of hand.

The government should contribute its share. Public hospitals can not accommodate or compete with the demands of national, publicly traded healthcare organizations with political influence and ability to raise capital to fund marketing hyper-advanced. Public policies must be written in support of "security net "institutions. They should be able to make their own MCO (Managed Care Patients' organizations) to organize in order to ensure patients and their services directly to groups of potential consumers. In this way there is 20% of commissions they pay for HMOs shop now. If they use more efficient and less able to absorb all the benefits, rather than giving them authority groups of patients and medical insurers or the governmentInsurance>. Hospitals will then vendors can build their networks and share the risks with their doctor or the insurance companies when it suits their purposes.

An example: a public hospital with a private health plan is probably to use all the specialists and facilities, the ability to increase usage and profits - while today only primary care, less profitable services are used by independent health organizations.

The governmentmay limit the total number of health plans available, so it propagates the public hospital stand out and not be overwhelmed by hundreds of other plans. How to plan a public hospital could also be explained by "standard plan of care" - someone who has not chosen a plan which will automatically be included in the plan's public hospital.

Not all hospitals can start an HMO plan. Only the great can support the necessary insurance payments, the reserverequirements and administrative and marketing costs. The paradox is that large hospitals have already committed to HMOs, insurance, other patient groups, or government-sponsored MCO. They oppose the inclusion of hospitals that have competing health plans - in their networks. This is: a hospital with a plan - is a direct competitor of a private provider of health care insurance and encourage. Another obstacle is that governments are very reluctant topublic sector because of the individual. This is certainly out of fashion nowadays.

So an alternative strategy is more feasible:

Public hospitals can act as a network of direct contracting. They work together, pooling their resources to exert political pressure, degrade the administrative and budgetary control (data processing, request processing, payment, accounting, legal services) a common center. This eliminates the need for intermediaries such as HMOs. These shared networkswill be able to negotiate contracts with other doctors, pharmacists, specialized laboratories and so on. This helps the public hospitals a fair and stable (low-dropout rate) for the protection of patients.

Finally, public hospitals are large employers with political power. All that's missing is the will to practice. They should governments do to some unpopular decisions: incentives for HMOs to refer patients to public hospitals, healthcare organizations mustuse the full range of services (both primary and specialty), direct compensation for nonpaying patients to public hospitals.

But public hospitals must begin to act as public bodies should open their decision-making and the creation of community-oriented. Must switch from relying on contract language to use an administrative law (regulations) - except when it comes to employment. In a nutshell: they need business-oriented, on one hand - and in publicresponsible to the other side.

There is the small problem of public relations and advocacy. Public hospitals have a terrible image, and they do very little to change it. They did not even cooperate with investigators trying to provide a factual basis for the health safety net and social assistance "to solve. In a world where images matter more than reality, this is perhaps the biggest mistake in public hospitals.

Eight ways to the functioning of public hospitals to improve

A publichospital can rent a physical space or time slots, computer equipment or other equipment in serviceable condition dies - to their physicians for private practice.

The tenant will have to pay doctors in the hospital - in the form of fixed rates or in the form of profit sharing (franchise).

They also undertake community-oriented, non-profit services in exchange for the right to use what is essentiallycommunity property.

Another method is to use the excess capacity to sell, rent or lease it to entrepreneurs who are not members of hospital staff. There are many possibilities such as: small laboratories, specialty medical services, primary care physicians and specialists. All these happy with the infrastructure of the hospital than to be used. The right to use this infrastructure can be provided in the form of a concession, a franchise, agreement or other arm oflongitudinal mode of cooperation. Professionals are likely to jump on the bandwagon when they realize that the hospital gives them a "captive market" of the patient. This is the relationship between an 'anchor' in a shopping mall and the little shops around it. The small stores can benefit from the business diverted in their direction of the large "anchor" retailers.

The next logical step would be to sell products and services to the community in a commercial, competitive basis. The hospital is not limited to the sale of goods and medical services. Medical services may also be entitled to sell, use your printer to print jobs to provide social services, to organize a profit center and selling the community or people, provide medical advice on a fee per service basis, even sell food from the hospital kitchen through a catering service, or data to researchers from its archives. A natural extension of this approach would"Internal privatization.

A hospital is a set of small (and medium) enterprises formed under one organizational roof. Laundry, cleaning, cooking, television and telephone that offers patients, a business center for business people hospitalized - these are all places of profit or loss.

Internal privatization leads to the transformation of the hospital in a holding company. The holding company will own and operate a large number of companies. Eachcompany, an entrepreneur in hospital with a separate service or product will deliver. And all the laundry done by a company that the hospital will provide its services. The same goes for food, printing, legal services and so on. These companies will be former employees of the hospital. In this way, knowledge and experience within the hospital is not lost. The company owned by a former employee will"Right of first refusal" in the first five years after the conversion. The employee-owned companies will be allowed to tender the best deals on annual subscription for the hospital will perform the services offered.

These companies will also be allowed to offer their services to other customers. So, they will reduce their dependence on the employer, the hospital. They are very entrepreneurial people, competing for profits in a marketenvironment.

Part of the reengineering process to determine which of the characteristics that the hospital perform its core functions, essential functions without which the hospital will cease to exist or change their identity so that it will no longer recognizable as a hospital. All other non-core functions should be offered (a concept called "outsourcing"). They must be granted a tender for the most competitive bidders, regardless of theirprevious identity and loyalty. The hospital is likely to benefit from the transfer of functions, which has no competitive advantage over foreign players whose experience of these functions. This is somewhat akin to international (free) trade, where each nation optimizes resources and gives the (positive) results of the optimization process for its business partners.

To control this type of processing, medical information management systems should be introduced. Manyavailable and improve the quality and quantity of data available for the management of the hospital and as a result of the decision. This will make it easier for management to identify which areas does what. For example: the management of the hospital will be able to determine what kind of incentives should be offered to those members of staff, where possible, cut costs and where and how productivity can be improved.

Finally, a novelconcept is emerging. Universities and hospitals are two important repositories of knowledge and human experience. Virtually every hospital somehow works with an academic institution, or a medical school.

There is a symbiosis between the hospital and medical and social research.

Hospitals should actively encourage this. It improves their image, which contributes to their ability to provide quality services. But do not do it for free. They have contractual partnerscommercial exploitation of research results in their classrooms or with their cooperation. There is a great field for the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology and genetic research - and a lot of money making opportunities for the entire community. Not getting commercially involved - hospitals are actually spending the money that is not theirs to give.

Inc, or what people know how to above Pethealth insurance is one of the PetCare pet insurance popular in North America. Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, the company offers health insurance and accident insurance for your beloved dogs and cats and other pets of other data management services. The company also offers other products and services through wholly owned subsidiaries, which may ring a bell: Shelter Care, Blue Cherry, 24PetWatch,PetPoint and Eve. Of course, the PetCare insurance is also a subsidiary. While the company's vision is to become the leading pet insurer in its field, we see how good it is so much to do.

PetCare Insurance receives an average of 4.5 out of A-10 cumulative number of all the reviewers have noted the policy of their petinsurancereview.com for their pets. In fact, if you want to look through the ratings consumers have given most of them had warmPetCare feelings. A review may have summed it up by saying that the company is not that great, but it was "Okay", or at least, worth the money. This may indicate that the balance between the service and you get what you pay (coverage rate) would be acceptable, but not all stunned something. A major problem was the sudden increase in applicants in the terms that the rates of policy changes that accumulated charges for multiple pets, can also be aboutowner of property insurance rates. This was in fact the main reason for a review of the company valued at an abysmal 2 of 10. Ratings with higher values come from a variety of consumers, some have been happy with more than a decade with the company, other pleasantly fascinated by the customer. Others were very happy with the simple process of the test.

PetCare insurance is in fact below the average score of a site, but not the end of yoursearch for just that. There is always a reason you can almost become a family trademark.

classic bikes - The Laverda Jota

The Laverda Jota was a machine in some way went against the general practice of the European bicycle manufacturers to produce powerful machines at the same time dealt with on the road, especially on winding roads. The fact that the Jota, named after a Spanish dance, was top heavy and long. In fact, the cycling equivalent of the Italian cars in general brutal sport of the period.

It was available in a wide range of colors, but if the shell and orange panelsa silver frame, the symbolic color of this machine. La Jota began life as 3C, a 1000 cc, four-stroke 180 degrees. The engine was a triple with a good punch and mid-range torque, producing 90bhp and 140 mph.

However, this performance was achieved after the UK importers of bicycles, Slater Brothers, made some changes to 3C standard. high compression pistons and exhaust free under some other changes this a bike that really only comfortable withdriving fast. In many ways, the Jota was a bike that sorted the men from the boys. It was just a class of its own and has been for many people the most exclusive and desirable bike of the day. This is summarized by Cycle Magazine who said "you throw a leg over this murderess if you want to test your personal limits."This was a hardcore exotic Italian motorcycles that had to be tamed. credentialing for health care insurance new practices

Each new practice of investing countless hours and money focused on office space, equipment, software and only open their doors to business and personal expenses found lengthy delays in obtaining appropriate insurance. More often than not, trouble could have been removed by addressing the insurance credentialing process quickly and well - the necessary relationships with insurance companies. companies creating Here are some considerations to keep in mind asaddress of the insurance process credentials.

Timing - start early!

Plan to begin the process of credentialing insurance soon - at least possible, at least six months before the first patient. Carriers will often be as much as 3-4 months to examine the documents and make a decision, even if everything is ok. If there are errors, missing information or documentation about an application, several weeks or even months can be added tothe process. These benefits six months after the reference time to be presented, usually enough time to address the problems should arise. If bit 'too much time is given before the practice opens and you begin to see patients for insurance credentialing is complete, you are open to the risk of getting an "out of network" rates, the charges can be sent to the patient, or, worst case scenario, you might not get paid.

Identify the targetVectors

To determine which credential policies could be with, consider your position and practice patient demographics. It will be a significant percentage have Medicare or Medicaid? Is there a particular company or enterprise in the area that a large percentage of the population employed? A quick call to their office to ask the human resources that now provide insurance for employees (as well as possible changes for the foreseeable future) is a good indicator of these vectors, wewant to consider.

Also check with colleagues, other providers, clinics and hospitals, even the largest of the area and ask that their most frequent collaborators. About third-party payers who are best to work with - those who pay on time, the biggest race to offer, and that carriers may be the ability of other providers in your specialty.

As you are aware that insurers may be the most popular in the area, make a list of the top 10 or 15. Then, thinkon what others say and cut the vendor list for the first 7 or 8. This will make your short list of where to go. Do not go overboard and too many to choose from the outset - if nothing else, you worn out, in accordance with the entries.

Contact your insurers

With a list of 7 or 8, to prepare at least a week (or more) to spend on the phone with offices operating in the services of carriers of each of your destination.

One of yourQuestions can be the first to ask if they accept new practices in your specialty in your area. More often than not, no problem here, but do not be discouraged if they say no - just keep moving down the list and prepare for the next contact with them for an opening. (Remember, if you have multiple carriers on your list indicate that they are closed to new providers, it is possible a new home, before moving on - to find more carriers to embrace new practices in the sector itselfis a strong indicator that there is plenty of competition around.)

If the carrier is receptive to new suppliers, make sure you have all relevant information about the process - ie names, addresses, phone numbers, times, forms, and so on. Do not forget to request a deposit online, as now, many airlines have all the information on-line and e-mail supporting documentation.

** Please note that insurance carriers will not startcredentialing process until you have identified a practical telephone and address (post office boxes are not accepted). If you have established an address in practice, but have not yet moved into vectors can usually send forms to a different address, but will still go to the location to find things to do.

The provision of credentials

Now that you have completed your research and identified what insurance you go to a file, you must complete andsubmit any information. The most generally used the following information:

Updated curriculum
Personal demographic information
The practice and business information
State and federal DEA numbers
State licensing and registration information
Proof of education - that is, ECFMG certificate or diploma
Malpractice insurance information
Information on any disciplinary action

Although this may be one piece, there's good news - like most airlines ask forthe same information, once the first agent is complete, you can simply write the data from one form to another. You will also have great benefits in the future by storing copies of these documents in a safe place. As your practice matures and you strive to references to other insurance, you have the same repository of information readily available.

Once completed the application, be sure to check everything twice. In fact, triple check and someone elselook on it as well. Do not expect that carriers of an obvious error is right for you - it is not their responsibility, and, frankly, but they will not. The importance of double and triple check can not be underestimated if the entire process can be of help a month or more the minimum error.

Finally, once your information has been submitted, allow an appropriate amount of time (1-2 weeks for the return delivered by post) and follow the office service provider to acknowledge receipt. If you were able to get a name in your search early to call them directly. Once the reception is set, do not hesitate to trace back to say 3-4 weeks to see if they have not examined or if they found problems. If everything is on schedule, a plan check back in another 3-4 weeks until the process is complete. This saves a lot of lead time, if you can learn by phone there was a sort of love. As mentioned above, expect this part of the process moremonths - are often centralized credentialing office and may be reviewed hundreds of entries for different sectors in a given time. If there is no movement after a few months, consider strengthening your calls on a weekly basis.

We hope that your hard work and phone calls you made and paid insurance credentialing process in just a few months of the original list of seven or eight carriers. Are you ready for the challenge of new accountGo back to your long list of 10-15 and start the process all over again with other carriers.

Some shortcuts

Here are some shortcuts for not credentialing above.

Hire professional help: There are many organizations that can help the process of credentials of insurance. If it is concluded with a practice management company, this process is often covered. If you are thinking of a medical billing companythe management of insurance and patient billing instructions should certainly have the experience with the holders of at least some, if not to manage for you. There are also a few insurance companies that specialize in professional credentials process for new practices, but they can often have a high price.

Universal credentialing data source: The Council for Affordable quality health care is an online service intended to eliminate the need forinsurance credentialing more entries. In short, your complete one form for all their participating insurance companies and allows them the information they receive. The CAQH Universal data source credentials can be found at: http://www.caqh.org/

Summary

The insurance credentialing process is crucial to getting your practice off to a good start - and to ensure a rapid transition to profitability. Although it may take a long time, one of the firstStart offers the possibility of problems should they arise to address. Be patient and keep these tips in mind and you'll get through it:

Start early - expect the process to take 6 months
Choose a destination list - try not to the vector
Double check your work before
Follow-up regularly and keep the process going
Do not be overwhelmed - it's just paperwork.

Open Letter to Oprah Winfrey As for the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina

In a recent statement on his television show (and repeated on her website Oprah.com) Oprah was quoted as saying. "I think we all owe to these people in this country an apology"

Dear Oprah,

I am very offended by your statement that "we all" these people need an apology. I guess I'm confused because I have to apologize. What should I do with the victims of Hurricane Katrina. I do not even know how to do a rain dance dance let alone a hurricane.

Oprah I agree with you thatlocal governments, provincial and federal levels can and should have reacted much faster. I agree that the lack of response by government institutions at all levels for the victims of Hurricane Katrina has caused further difficulties. I agree that probably will show that people died because of Hurricane Katrina victims have been failed by local, state and federal in the early days of the tragedy. Yes, Oprah government officials of mayors, governors, senators,Deputies, Cabinet secretaries and even President George Bush to thank the people of the same region of the Gulf of Mexico is not just an excuse, but a full account of what went wrong and why.

Oprah I do not have people apologize for the disaster of the Gulf of Mexico. I and the American people must remain in the area of the Gulf Coast disaster on our support. We thank the people of the Gulf Coast disaster area on our thoughts and prayers. We owe the people of the Gulf Coast disaster all the support we can givethem including monetary donations, donations of blood, food, supplies, medical care, employment and housing. These are much better than an excuse anyway.

Sincerely

Mike Makler

I give to everyone and anyone the right to publish this open letter, with or without my signature or resource box. I'm not looking for recognition or profit from this open letter.

If you lose your job, all you have to get another in our economy "Wonderful"

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a low rate of unemployment for years. Behind these relationships are articles that cover 50 percent of all young blacks in the city is unemployed and another story about 33 percent of all those who have lost their jobs after the age of 55 years without ever finding the 'else. A local church bulletin for the creation of this notation for a long time -. "Success is the attainment of social security before having to declare bankruptcy, the Authority of the Consumer Bankruptcy Project found that the speedthat older Americans - those aged 65 or older - filed for bankruptcy increased 213 percent between 1991 and 2001. The steepest increase in Chapter 7 filings occurred among people aged over 55 years. In 2002, the percentage of Americans over the age of 45 years who entered bankruptcy reached 39 percent from 27 percent in 1994, the study found.

Another report found that 47 percent of all small business people maxed out their credit cards trying to get their business afloat in an economicArena of unfair trade. Many have suffered at the end usurious interest rates to 35 per cent interest. Apparently many of the failures are not only based on consumers much money, but the first necessity of life. Today many people who believed in free enterprise and the American Dream, a bankruptcy education course before the bankruptcy. This law was passed by politicians with a lot of "double dipper" has a salary and retirement income, while the private sector must takeOf course, having been in business for many years.

However, the most striking is the numerator. Only about 40 percent of all U.S. workers eligible for unemployment insurance. The remaining 60 percent are in a sort of economic uncertainty. They either do not work long enough for a job or enough money in a given period of eligibility. (We do not know how to add everything to a number of people working for four jobs at once. It seems that the BLS employment reportis equal to an employee. )

The Bureau of Labor Statistics to stop using the unemployment offices in their report because of this. This leaves us with the conclusion. We do not need a conspiracy theory to know the ratio of unemployment is a system run and a single mother making only $ 100 a month is considered occupied. This would have been laughable in the year 1970. Then the laughter would become something more serious hearing and the Congress will be called. Now, inThe current economic arena, did nothing to expose this terrible void.

BSL ultimately, about five years ago that many are missing in action from all forms of communication offer looking for a job. They put the figure at only 4 million euro, while the streets tells us that there must be more than just 4 million euro. Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans exposed a huge tableau of class in a silent depression. The same may hold true in our country.

It 'hard to findmany jobs are full time. From what we have studied only about 88 million full-time jobs, which confirms that there is an economic limbo out there with a population of at least twice. To study how unemployment is collected is a different story.
According to reports, the BSL will get the results from a random statistical vocation of 50,000 families per month.

The person answering the phone asked if they sought work in the past month. If they say no, which arecounted as employees. If a person says they are helping the family business or family farm without pay, while they are looking for a regular job, they too are considered employees. We welcome anyone to tell us that we were wrong and we hope that we were wrong. The Get America Working Forum, says 50 percent of human resources of the United States are not used. The term underemployment has subsided.

Meanwhile, the media keep telling us how well the economy is our low unemployment raterates. They tell us how the stock market is doing. However, upon a time, the values of the increase in stocks of companies based on how the companies can hire people, while making a decent profit. Today, stock prices are now based on layoffs, rather than rent. Some American companies now have only 10 percent of their workforce in America. The increase in stock values as more low-paid foreign workers are hired. When consumers store their jobs away at places likeWalmart.

President Clinton has confirmed the free trade agreements with the passage of NAFTA and GATT. President Bush has been following the confirmation of anything personal, because it was only business in the past to obtain Fast Track, which allows the executive branch of the CEO in the world. President Bush says that Mexican workers coming to the U.S. not to take American jobs. He neglects to tell us that Mexico also reports a low unemployment rate, and apparently there are many jobs in Mexicothat Mexican workers will not take. The more than 4000 plants were transferred from the U.S. to Mexico, apparently has not helped the Mexican economy that much. He created a new class of working poor in the U.S. and a poor working class in Mexico. Now that many of these factories to move from Mexico to countries like China because the Chinese will have jobs that Mexican workers will not. The global free wants a global economy without borders. They say it is spreading prosperitybut in reality they are spreading poverty because there is always the work of someone less than the levels of wage slave and even child labor.

Today you can travel for miles over our city and see the vacant factories and shops, while the government tells us, happy days are here again with the greeters at Walmart welcome us to spend money on products that are in remote areas while our local value added economies are cut into pieces as relics of anotherof time. Our industry could be restored World War 2 and the local value added economies in Europe and Asia, through the Marshall Plan. In the end, the United States Lost World War 2 fifty years after the battle was over.

Philadelphia bans use of mobile phones while driving

Philadelphia drivers means that the mobile phone! From 1 December 2008 if you are caught driving and talking on a mobile phone texting is the price you pay. The Philadelphia police officers will pull over drivers who talk or text message to your phone. For the month of November only a warning. Not only is the ban for motorists but also cyclists, roller skates, skateboards and scooters!

The traffic citation will be a substantial fine $ 75regarding the violations. Mayor Nutter this ban has been effectively adopted in May 2009. However, the ban will not come in the very near future. The fact remains that if you are distracted while driving are a danger to themselves and others on the road. Drivers are encouraged to use their hands free devices, so at least when talking while driving, have both hands on the wheel.

Talking and driving is putting others' lives on the line, the textmessage is not so important! This is particularly dangerous for drivers of teenagers when their whole life revolves around text messaging. According to the American Life Project, a quarter of boys who say they text while driving.

There are tons of studies showing that texting while driving is dangerous. A recent study says Virginia Tech texters are 23 times more likely to crash. About 20 young drivers have the highest mortality rate among all ages from driving last year,According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Driver 20-29 in second place. Some tips for teens and adults to prevent text messages while driving can leave the phone while driving to reach it in the trunk, something to eliminate the temptation to answer the phone.

A recent study says Virginia Tech texters are 23 times more likely to crash.

We are all guilty of this to some extent, adults can be obtained just as easily. As adultsWe believe that every call is an important and urgent needs that can not wait. Before cell phones we had to wait up to call home, awaiting a moment on the side of the road is nothing in comparison. Parents should set an example for their teens, but not talking or texting while driving, and a line of family, if possible. The bottom line is ultimately the law will intervene if the parents, but adults can at least try not to wake the precedent ofphone use while driving in the car.

The Constitution - What the heck is really mean anyway? Bill of Rights, Part 1

"Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to do well and hard."

Sometimes as well, listening to callers on radio shows, experts and activists in the news cable shows, and the disparity of information between the evening news national and international news. (Ok, I've got. Yes, I watch the news international, BBC, etc, etc. I have lived abroad for a while ', but I used to news of the real world.) My fellow Americans, what the hell iswrong with you?

You have been misled. Look who is running your government. Really listen to what I say. If you remember anything from high civics classes, it is likely to recognize his government is merrily stomping on your rights. Worse, they have an army of zombies, incredibly ruminate their lies, half truths and down right stupid comments, and teach your children that the deterioration of civil liberties is a goodit is needed for public safety. You are writing your papers, do, morning, noon and evening news, they serve and protect your cities and villages, teaching your children, your shopping bags, so your new roof, etc., etc. These people do not may be the sharpest tools in the shed, but they have saturated every part of your life, no matter where you live. These people are your modern center of the lower class Republicans. (I go to the upper halfclass, filthy rich and masters of the universe another diatribe.) devotees blindly, hopelessly blind vote on matters that do not really affect their lives less. Vote for a constitutional amendment against gay marriage, but homosexuals are like 1% of the population (and state where these brilliant people probably live even though it was forbidden).

Voted against abortion, that does not really concern them. If you do not wantabortion, they have to get one, they just have the right to prevent others from getting one. How does that make sense? You do not believe in abortion, so everyone should think like you? Okay, so you think that crime is not killed nobody, except the first murder other people (this is the death penalty for those who may be slow on the uptake). I see none of them visit their local town and march against the killing there. Then to declare themselves pro-life, theysupport cutting money for people who are struggling and in serious need of help. They say it is not the responsibility of the government for welfare, housing subsidies, medical services and similar to those who can not afford. I have heard that "pro-life until birth," which is incredibly appropriate. They support executions for murder, but do not want more gun regulation, because "guns do not kill people kill people." Then they have the courage, the sheerGallo, call themselves Christians. It makes me wonder if they ever actually studied the manner in which Christ lived, or concentrate and meditate on what Christ actually said in context.

Which is useless, absolutely no original thought, do not have the ability to think, evaluate and judge for yourself. History is full of such partnership who casually march to the beat of the drummer without considering where they are going. Well, I think it is appropriate forzombie crowd Republicans do not know where to go because they have no idea where they went. I hope to contribute in order to be provocative, by the beginning of a conversation, but one of my points where I feel I must, for the sake of my audience zombies, some basic principles to explain, so you do not understand what is dead I say. First, let's look at some basic federal laws, which replaces (preferred) the rules state. Let's look there?

AmendmentI

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or freedom of speech or the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

In case you do not know, this is the first amendment of the Constitution. I think it is important to break some of the fundamental laws of the Constitution, because it has become increasingly clear to methat the majority of Americans (especially those with "W" stickers on their cars) have no idea what the Constitution or its amendments, except the second one, actually says. Let's dissect this and it is.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ..." This means that the state or federal, in the United States Congress (including the Senate in this case), or local (state) can not say "I am a born againBuddhists, for whom the local religion is Buddhism. "You can not force anyone to pray, but you can not stop praying all. This also means (for Nazi-liberals) can not stop a group of students of their own free will, want to meet in the cafeteria during lunch and the Bible -is none of your business for the same reason, a school can not determine the organization of a Bible that is not your job .. We just took care of the School of Prayer now. It also means that no moral law, because most of the time, you really keep your religious convictions of others. If most people decide that a fetus is a fetus, you have every right to disagree. You have no right to conclude that most of your company should respect your position. I've never seen a protester pro-life, do not ignore the Bible as their guide, then I came to the belief that pro-life people have come to the conclusion abortion is wrong because of their religious vision. Great! You have no right to force that view on Jane atheist, because it would establish your own religion. Get Over It and surpass themselves.

Before continuing, let me just say that I love the Lord. I pretend to Jesus Christ, Son of the living only as my personal Savior. I'll probably never have an abortion (never say never, who knows what tomorrow will bring). This does not mean that I have the right to those who believe as I do not speak to an abortion. What I can do is offeralternative for those who hunt them. I would curse my God, if I yell at everyone going to hell. According to my Bible, do not get to decide who goes to hell. I know that my Redeemer tend to hang around the types of sin, because they are more open to the truth. These types were called Pharisees just, you know the guys who went around pointing out all the "sinners" were wrong, while orchestrating the crucifixion. Sound familiar? L '-Continue to read.

"Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech ..." Other than some aspects of the controversial Patriot Act (fully recommend that every reader a look at this piece of legislation, but only if you are able to do so with an open mind and unbiased view), where I know that Congress has passed laws official curtail freedom of expression. What some members of both Houses, however, have done is to ensure that any opposition to their particular point of view isportrayed as unpatriotic and "encourages the enemy ... ..." That bran, my countrymen, in and of itself, is clearly patriotic. In fact, I suggest that the resistance is against freedom of expression is a corruption of the fundamental freedoms that America is likely to. If you agree with opponents-end, your case, and prove to be strong through the debate that point you might be right. If you puff your chest, deepen your voice and argues thatthis speech is unpatriotic, probably will not have a leg to stand on. No matter how utterly inappropriate, the conspiracy drove the comments may be, as an American citizen, like it or not, you have an inalienable right-right do not agree with your government, and the same right to say. Any government that can not or will not tolerate dissent should be examined closely from top to bottom. As a group, organization, and so on can not bear a small ray of lightreduce the depth, it is likely that the organization has worked with corruption, deception and vice versa.

For the average citizen, you have no right to tell your neighbors of any expression of the political conception is patriotic. If you can not stand to hear your beloved leader has criticized, you may be more convenient to live in a country where dissent is not to say Iran? Oh, it's true! Iran is the enemy. Funny how some of us the same features as the countriesWe love so vile and repressive (and I'm not saying that Iran is different from what it is). If we are truly a "Christian nation" Maybe we should remove the beam from our eyes, before pointing to the sand in the eyes of others?

A more serious pet peeve I have is that they have the courage to say that any speech against the establishment disparaging "our troops." Look, I served my country for four years, not a huge amount of time, but more than that, from 1990-1994. I remember allTalking midday news on Somalia (Mogadishu, to be precise), for and against military action / inaction there. I do not remember a comment made me feel demoralized and unappreciated, nor do I remember one of my traveling companions, even a mention of the campaign. What I remember the young Marines who have come aboard our ships for some hot food and shopping in the warehouse of the ship. I remember the confusion about their mission and look in their eyes as he recalled how the children wheretaking pictures of them and tell them that their orders could not return fire. I remember a conversation with a Marine who was not half over eighteen years, we could not say they would listen to poverty, despair, or the empty cans in the eyes of the boys around with arms as big as one's body believe. He wanted to know how someone would use children to fight their wars, and why it could not do anything to help him. He wanted to know about the world of chaosexist, and what the hell was he supposed to do. Maybe they need a little more debate, a bit 'stronger indignation for our beloved leader off their collective ass and come to some sort of consensus on what exactly is our role. Perhaps a debate for and against military action could help "our soldiers" more than it hurts.

I refuse to explain this rant from me my exact feelings on the war in Iraq, if one agrees or disagrees is now a moot point. I rantand anger against the authorities, seasoned agents "who have the courage to look at the contempt questions about decisions in the war. I spit on who had the courage to play the appropriate questions on armor, or clear mission objectives. For all classified on the floor E-1 to E-5, the press is the only way to do something unjust or ridiculous addressed. They have no voice abuse or problems, very few are chosen. The vast majority do notWhat are ordered to do. Anyone who has taken a lower-level person know that you are not the general call and put your two cents in on everything. It is not even necessarily know if the weapons or tactics that you use is legal.

"Congress shall make no law ... prohibiting the free exercise of the press ... ..." Another very important aspect of "freedom of the press is fair to our officers, they are local, state or federal. As soon as the government has control, Or even influence what is reported by our newspapers or the network, you lose the truth is a breeze with the propaganda. If you just want to hear your views supported, choose the sites, called "News Radio", magazines or journals for your feed hungry politician. E 'reckless, dangerous in the bottom right of influence in every aspect of the government to allow "real news". I put in quotes because I really believe any semblance of real journalism is rapidly disappearing, replaced by plastic, slaves to fear the powers that be, or deliberate on forcing their political preferences through the gorges of the general population or terrified to report anything too controversial. Sometimes the simple truth is controversial. The simple truth that separate was not equal in the years 1950 and 1960 was controversial, Watergate was at issue, the war in Vietnam has been controversial. Perhaps making up one of these things? It would have been good to ignore, to pretend it is happening andEverything was honky dory? Hell no! If you, my fellow Americans so afraid of the truth you prefer to stab his head in the sand or hiding behind the ideology, whatever the ideology that might be? Where is your backbone?

I saw that said an overwhelming indictment of our media, after the Sept. 11, when the people bewildered as to why "they" hate us. I'm not a great intellectual, a journalist not a scholar of the World, but I got that "they" hate been known for some Americans, because I wasAbout 19. Maybe I only have a deeper insight into the psyche of the third world, colonized, cruel, suppressed and generally looked down upon, but I doubt it. It's amazing what you can learn from just talking with people. Imagine what could we learn if our networks, time and resources in 60% to 80% of the world that can not cover. Americans live in a sort of bubble, where the ugliness of the rest of the world rarely enter into our eternal danger. Inews for you, in the growing "global society" does not know what's really happening in the rest of the world is like taking a trip without a map. How in the world was possible, most people had no idea about the growing hatred of America, festering in the Middle East? And here's another great shock-is not all about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not. E 'operating, the unequal distribution of wealth, which is on the back (and sometimes the location) of the tyrannical, despotic leader of their country. It 's the way we have a battle in support of policies that place the necks of their people under the heel of the U.S. supported their leader. You think I'm liberal spouting nonsense? Manuel Noriega, Saddam Hussein (you know what are sponsored Hussein?) The Shah (who was the king of Iran, circa 1970 look-up), the Afghan warlords, the House of Saud, and so on.

I have a couple of months in the Middle East, much less timemany so-called experts, but the only thing I did with a few notable exceptions, many others failed to do was talk to the average Joe. I do not speak yet many women, Arab women. I had a chance to talk only with the typical men of different ages. A man had a booth at the pier where my ship was moored. Was the most beautiful old you could ever want to meet, just trying to make a living selling food until late at night or very drunk sailors. I was a little 'shockHe talks to me. I was told Arab women scorned. Not so much for the average non-enthusiast. I was also warned the Arabs hated the Americans. A sort of true, but as my friend explained to me, was not so much the average American. It 'was the manager of the oil companies, politicians and people in power who are real goat. The fanatic will only see the Americans, the great evil. The average person sees their corrupt governments receive assistance, weapons and the means to keep in powergreedy Americans (and British colonial masters) magnates. The stool of all this is that most Americans have no idea what their government is really doing overseas. You should know, you deserve to know you better ask some to know before administering the policy (and they are very bad for third world countries or Democrat or Republican) put your life in danger. In a global society, and like it or not you live in one, you can not completely ignore each othercultures and norms or taboos. You can not force your way of life in the world. I'm not talking about freedom, all deserve to be free. I have a simple culture. Just because we do it here in the good old U.S. of A. not to do or bad. Sometimes it's just different. Some things should not be tolerated by any culture, for example, genocide (Sudan think, if you have no idea what should be thrown on you), and female castration(Sorry, wrong, wrong), or the general oppression or subjugation of a group of companies. You need to know, because at any moment, the bite back, especially if the government knows and does nothing.

"Congress shall make no law ... ... to reduce the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Good Lord people, I do not care who you are, what you believe, or what you are preaching against; The Americans have the right to demonstrate against you. As long as it is quiet, the use of local police stop everyone from peaceful assembly to let their displeasure be known, until the people within the confines of the law and not the hair, well, you get the picture, is unconstitutional , period. You can not deny anyone the right to assemble, even pro-life events in or outside of abortion clinics liberal Republican National Convention. Is not it funny? GoSaudi Arabia or Cuba, or Sudan. It 'so simple, and do not want to waste my time trying to convince anyone. If you do not know, maybe some education classes in remedial reading and comprehension would a world of good.

So many petitions to the government for a redress of grievances, maybe we should break a little '. Petition media lobby, to beg, to request formally. Note: The first amendment says "the people" and not business. Compensation may meanrestoration or compensation. Complaints and grievances, or injustice. Now, how do you think the average citizen, people can formally request a repair or compensation from the government for a wrong or injustice? It could perhaps be the judge? Ah, here we come to reform tort law. Your government has recently enacted legislation (Law on the common people) that makes it harder for you to resolve a complaint. Every time I saw a few people at random lip sync with the party line about how"Cause frivolous" were driving the cost of insurance I just wanted to literally scream. Mr. and Mrs. Brilliant, in a civil case, for the most part, the prizes are awarded by a jury of your peers. "That means people like you. Are you seriously saying you do not have the decision whether a case has some merit? You seriously need someone to hold his hand and tell you what is reasonable? Seriously?

So much "lobbying" the government, I think I have a vagueunderstanding of American English, and really not what "the right people ... to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" can be stretched to lobbyists. Energy, pharmaceutical, or insurance are not people is business, but that's just my feelings, I can legally wrong. I sincerely doubt that 'morally' wrong, but I'm only human. It 's your country, people take it back.
